Branch Sales Associate

Grainger is hiring for Branch Sales Associate

As a Branch Sales Associate, you will be the face of Grainger to walk-in customers, offering product solutions and exceptional service. You'll maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction while performing various warehouse functions throughout the day. You will report directly to the Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full customer experience, including product selection, order entry, and safe loading of products into customer vehicles.

• Identify opportunities to drive sales and build long-term customer loyalty.

• Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email with a diverse range of customers.

• Pick, prepare, and stage will-call and shipping orders.

• Handle customer backorders and restock inventory.

• Assist with merchandising and showroom restocking.

• Conduct inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.

• Navigate Grainger’s systems for both customer-facing and back-end operations.

• Perform general housekeeping to maintain a professional and clean branch appearance.

• Follow all safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Required Qualifications:

• Flexible schedule during branch hours of operation.

• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted; team lift for heavier loads.

• Ability to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.

Compensation:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $23.00 to $25.00 (subject to geographic and experience factors)

• Note: Pay range is an estimate and may vary depending on role specifics and individual qualifications.
